House Mouse Challenge #226 Autumn - Hot Drink

When Autumn arrives you see special products for this season everywhere. Star Bucks serves Pumkin Spice Latte every year and I can't resist buying it because of my love for pumpkins. Unfortunately the taste is too strong for me. But it is still a lovely concept. Therefore I decorated a take out cup for the House Mouse Autumn Challenge. I used a leaf and circle die with a cute House Mouse in the center. I just love that stamp, you can make it fit for any occasion. I stamped some leaves on the cup for an Autumn feeling.

House Mouse Challenge #226 Autumn shakercard

Another card for House Mouse Challenge #226 Autumn theme. This time I made a shaker card. I took an orange card and layered it with design paper. The stamp that I used was perfect for a shakercard with Autumn leaves. For the leaves I took a piece of white cardstock and coloured it on both sides with Distress ink and Dylusion ink spray, when it was dry I used a die to cut out the leaves. Don't you love all those Autumn colours?

House Mouse Challenge #226 Autumn pumpkin

Autumn has arrived and I LOVE IT! Love the beautiful colours, pumpkins and the smell of autum leaves on the ground. Every season has something lovely don't you agree? This time of the year I cook a lot with pumpkin. I started this season with pumpkin soup and healthy pumpkin cupcakes. For this House Mouse Challenge autumn theme I created a card with pumpkins! I took a white card as base, used the wood background stamp on another piece of cardstock and cut out the shape of a leaf with a die. On the card I stamped the House Mouse image and on top of that I placed the wood stamp with foam to make it pop up a little. Finished it of with some pumpkin dies from Marianne Design. Hope you're looking forward to this season (just forget the rain ;).

House Mouse Challenge #225 Make a Splash

House Mouse challenge has returned from their summer break (so did I kind of.. lol) wit a new fun challenge to cool down from this hot summer:  #225 Make a Splash. I'm still enjoying the hot weather. I know it is often to hot to do anything and my craft room is a no go with this heat but I still like it better then the cold. When I made this card I had to wait until the sun was down because I was melting before I even got started...

I choose to leave part of the stamp as it is and just make one piece pop out in colour. For my background paper I used some artistic designer paper from Stampin'Up! I coloured the immage with Distress ink, but this immage was begging for something more. I took my wink of stella and gave the water some shimmer, but it was still missing something. Then I took my Glossy Accent to make the water more realistic, glued everything together and my card was done. Hope you like it, don't forget to drink much water during these days!
